Busy, Busy, Busy

For the most part, I'm working on a menage (as well as trying to finish the rewrites on the next in the Zarain shapeshifter storyline. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to get this to my editor soon). That would be my dragon-vampire fantasy romance. Those two men are being deliciously wicked, scheming and plotting. And the heroine is copping an attitude.

I just sent in a submission. I'll have to wait to tell you more about it though.

On another note, I joined My Space. Spent a lot of time setting that up, but it was fun.

A late night flyby

Just a mini update here. First there's a new contest on my website. I'll choose the winner of that contest on October 4. There's also a way to be entered to win a second prize. My newsletter subscribers get a chance to win. For more details, you'll have to subscribe to my newsletter.

Here's a quote that inspired me today.

To fear love is to fear life, and those who fear life are already three parts dead.

Bertrand Russell, Marriage and Morals (1929) ch. 19British author, mathematician, & philosopher (1872 - 1970)

Second Chance has a release date. October 4th!

Here's the Official Blurb--

They’re the men of her dreams, literally—but now Laci awakens to find herself naked at the feet of the two sexy men who have been haunting her fantasies. She had thought they were just her imagination’s way of dealing with the loneliness of her hard life—as a human-alien hybrid created by a corrupt bureaucracy of scientists, Laci has been devoting most of her time to hunting down her enemies. But these men are very real, and so are the shackles they’ve placed around her wrists.

Alek and Darion have been searching for Laci for years. Yet from almost the moment she speaks, they know she’s different from the woman they remember. Their hunger and deep love for her overpowers them both. They won’t let her run from the truth—or from them.

Laci must face a past she never knew in order to deal with the two men in her present. Alek and Darion must get to know their mate all over again and gain her trust. And the three of them must stay out of reach of their creators, who are just waiting to strike.

Note: This book contains male/male sexual interaction.

I'm so excited. It's sooner than I expected.

I've been busy writing and of course reading. Some of what I read has been writing related. The Key by James N Frey is great--one of the clearest explanations of creating a mythbased story that I've ever read. He doesn't just tell you, he shows you how to do it. Pleasure reading, Bat Scratch Fever by Titania Ladley. It's absolutely wonderful.

And because I was in the mood to find out which sci-fi crew I was part of I took this quiz on quizfarm.com. http://www.quizfarm.com/test.php?q_id=111863

Your Ultimate Sci-Fi Profile II: which sci-fi crew would you best fit in? (pics)

You scored as Moya (Farscape).

You are surrounded by muppets. But that is okay because they are your friends and have shown many times that they can be trusted. Now if only you could stop being bothered about wormholes.

Now, I better get back to work. There's a dragon and a vampire wanting to do more with their witch.
